Modernism for the Future ( MoFu 360/365)

The Lithuanian city of Kaunas is the European Capital of Culture in 2022. The leitmotif of the programme is modernism. On Saturday 23rd of January, the Lithuanian Prime Minister and Minister for Culture opened the Modernism for the Future 360/365 (Creative Europe) exhibition in the former Post Office building. 14 artists reflected on unique modernist architecture in the various partner cities at the request of Kaunas, Intercommunale Leiedal, the Institute for Cultural Strategy (CSI, Lviv, Ukraine), Industra Art (Brno, Czech Republic). 
With their artistic project, the artists developed a unique interpretation of the buildings in question as a dialogue about the importance of modernist heritage for this and future generations.
